Formally established in 2023, our Social Services branch goes beyond addressing immediate needs, offering programs and services to support and sustain growth for individuals, families, and the community as a whole.

System Navigation

We help people navigate complex systems that can feel overwhelming, confusing, or hard to access. We are here to walk alongside you through that process.

Life Skills Workshops

Empower the community with practical tools and knowledge, covering babysitting, first aid, CPR, financial literacy, parenting, and mental health with expert guidance.

Social Service Hub

TNDF works with social service and government agencies, regularly hosting organizations that provide employment, income, tax, and other supports to make services more accessible for community members.

Harm Reduction

The Nourish & Develop Foundation (TNDF), in partnership with the John Howard Society, operates as a Harm Reduction Satellite Site. We provide access to safer-use supplies, education, and needle return services.

Technology Access

We offer Wi-Fi, laptops, printers, phones, and scanners on-site for essential tasks. Private rooms may be available for confidential calls or virtual meetings.

Material Goods

We are proud to participate annually in the Fill a Purse for a Sister Campaign and Warm Tootsies, acting as a drop-off location and additional support for both initiatives.
