We partner with a number of social service and governmental agencies in an effort to increase accessibility to our community members. We regularly host organizations that can help with employment, income supports, tax filing, and much more.

Help is not far away.

We’ve partnered with the following organizations to increase access to their services for residents of North Durham, by giving them regular access to a meeting space on site.

The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region can help you by providing information, resources, education, support and counselling.

Providing life-changing mentoring experiences since 1912.

Whether it is a need for a welcoming place for newcomers, immigrants and refugees, documenting and reporting on vulnerable populations like seniors and the under-housed, or creating a community garden for residents, CDCD listens acutely to community members, and connects their ideas and identified needs to programs, services, and reports.

Durham College Community Employment Services: Meet one on one with a case manager to receive job search and resume building support a long with information and access to free training opportunities. 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.

Receive on site testing for Hepatitis C in 20 minutes, talk to a professional and get valuable information and resources on Hepatitis C on the 4th Wednesday of every month.

Durham Community Legal Clinic:

Group support for community members living with mental health issues focusing on recovery. Share experiences and relate to others experiencing similar things.

Ontario Works: Offers information about the Ontario Works program, supports with the transition to the Ontario Disability Support Program, and connects clients to social service supports. Present every second and last Monday of the month by appointment and drop-in.

Family Services Durham:
Offers individual, couple, and family counselling to people who live or work in Durham Region. Since 1953, Grandview Kids has provided high-quality, family-centred rehabilitation services to children and youth with communication, physical and developmental needs in Durham Region.

The John Howard Society of Ontario is a not-for-profit organization of 19 local offices dedicated to effective, just and humane responses to crime and its causes.

Offers support with Employment Insurance, Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canadian Pension Plan, Social Insurance Numbers, and passport applications every 3 months.
