Energized by the potential for positive change, Jess is a dedicated nonprofit leader with a heart for building community, eradicating poverty, and creating a just and sustainable food system. When she’s not working, Jess can be found at Fleming College teaching seminars on Sustainable Agriculture, at Canter Coffee making lattes, or at home re-watching her favourite sitcoms.
Beth is grateful for the chance to apply her skills and expertise to make a difference in the North Durham community. With more than ten years of experience leading and managing teams in various sectors, she understands that with the right support and guidance, a team can become more than the sum of its parts.
Lisa is excited to be working for an organization that has a direct and positive impact on community members. As a passionate foodie, Lisa spends her home life experimenting in her kitchen.
Karley is passionate about bringing the community together through accessible and engaging programs. In her free time, Karley enjoys camping, attending concerts, and reading.
Morgan brings a unique skillset to the team with a background in social services, event planning, and Human Resources—plus a few unexpected talents like kombucha brewing, and maple syrup know-how from her family’s sugar bush. When she’s not at the office keeping things organized, you’ll find her lakeside with a well-made latte, dreaming up her next creative project.
Kristin is passionate about creating efficient systems that keep TNDF running smoothly while supporting its mission and community impact. With a strong background in operations, she thrives on efficiency and continuous improvement. When she is off the clock, she enjoys travelling, trying new foods, gardening, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with her family.
Katerina is driven by her passion for visual communication and the positive impact it can have on a community. With a background in history and film, her love of visual storytelling is put to good use at TNDF and beyond!
Putting her 10+ years of customer service experience to good use, Tiffany loves building community and connections through our Mobile Food Market! When not out on the road, you can find her at home with her cats, cozy gaming, or practicing K-Pop dances.
Tierney has a strong background working with children and youth and her career path has always focused on assisting vulnerable populations and empowering communities. When Tierney is not at work she loves to garden, camp, hike, and spend time with her family, friends and her pet cats and chickens!
Ruth is passionate about creativity both in and out of the kitchen. She enjoys experimenting with cooking, baking, and decorating, always eager to try new ingredients, cuisines, and techniques. Outside of the kitchen, Ruth enjoys travelling with friends, exploring new places, trying new activities and seeking out new adventures whenever possible.
A decade of experience working in social services and community food work has solidified Arielle’s belief that food is what connects us all. She is passionate about building an inclusive community around food and using it as a vehicle for learning and connection. Outside of TNDF, you can find her in the garden with her family, exploring Ontario’s small towns and vintage shops, or in the city trying a new restaurant.
While studying to become a firefighter, Alicia discovered her passion for helping the community, which she now channels as TNDF’s Food Services Assistant. When she’s not in the Community Kitchen, Nourish House Food Bank, or leading Food Literacy Workshops, she can be found cuddled up with her cats, out for a run, planning her next travel adventure, or spending time with friends.
Having worked in food security for over 4 years, Kate is dedicated to supporting the food access services that TNDF provides, ensuring that all people have access to nutritious, locally grown food. When not working, Kate is an avid gardener, a devoted dog mom, and a student of Architectural Technologies, who hopes to help tackle the growing housing crisis.
Crystal is guided by a deep-seated commitment to good, wholesome food and connection within the community. With a unique professional toolkit spanning administrative oversight, childcare nutrition, and family farming, she is excited to bring her diverse perspective and energy to the team at TNDF.
