Hot Pepper Challenge

Five local community champions are putting their taste buds on the line to help TNDF raise much-needed funds to purchase food; the competitor who raises the least will have to eat a hot pepper at the campaign finale.

Who will you save from the pepper?

Bring on the heat.

We’ve decided to introduce a friendly competition this Hunger Action Month.

Five brave community members have agreed to participate in our Hot Pepper Challenge. The rules are simple: raise as much money for TNDF’s food purchasing as you can…the person who raises the least has to eat a hot pepper (supplied by Ark Pepper Co.) at our Community BBQ on October 1.

From September 1 – 29, community members can donate in support of the competitor they want to “save” from the hot pepper.

While the Hot Pepper Challenge is designed to be fun, playful, and engaging, the need behind it is very real. More individuals and families are turning to food support programs, and demand continues to grow. Every dollar raised through this campaign will help TNDF purchase food and ensure our neighbours have access to the support they need.

By donating, you’re not just saving someone from a hot pepper. You’re helping us keep food on our shelves, meet rising need, and build a stronger, healthier community for everyone.

Choose your favourite competitor, make a donation, and help us turn up the heat for a good cause. 🌶️
